DON'T USE CHARLES CHAMBERS! Unreliable and very POOR communication.

I also told him that I run a small shop for extra income and needed this work to be done expeditiously. I'm a pretty easy going guy and let a lot of stuff fly even when it shouldn't. It's takes a giant amount to make me this perturbed. Now we are 5 weeks from the initial quote the work isn't done and we have to start getting bids all over again. I would have gladly accepted a higher bid if I knew this was going to happen. I'm sure Charles isn't registered on here b/c there would be more bad reviews to be seen.

Knoll is a good guy but had his equipment stolen, so he passed me to Charles Chambers - AKA "a tight seal" initial quote was 10/7/2013 via email. It was 10/18/2013 when I said ok lets do it. He told me he would be over to do it at least 3-4 different times and dates. Weather, a blown tire, a commercial job, all got in the way. The last time he said he was coming he didn't give any excuse at all. I thought after he came in person this last week he would finally show up on a Thursday, which got pushed to Friday, and then Friday to Saturday... He said he was coming on Sat. 11/9/2013 (now 3weeks after accepting his bid) and never showed or called even after repeated calls and txts. 1 reply by a "i'll be on my way soon" on sat.) He never showed up. My wife called mid day Sat. and didn't leave a voice mail and he called her back "not wanting to miss business" and she said her peace (which would have been worse it it was me) and told him not to bother coming to do the work. He told her some time in the middle of the conversation that he had me on the books for another 2-3 weeks down the road. So was he going to continue to jerk my chain for another 2-3 weeks until the work may have been completed...??? I wouldn't have been put off if he just told me a real date to begin with. I understand things happen and certain things can't be helped and remained very reasonable until I realized he was putting me off again and again with no intention to do the work in a reasonable amount of time. If there were a 1/4 star option I would have used it!
